How would you describe yourself?: DJ and Producer

What do you like to do when you're bored?: DJ, produce or play my Xbox 360 (usually playing drums on rock band)

Which artists have most inspired you musically?: Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Thelonious Monk, Dj Brad Smith, Dj Icy, Aquasky, Breakfastaz, Hive, Spor, Dieselboy, Evol Intent, Jackal & Hyde. That is just a short list. I have so many influences from all genres of music.

What's your favourite kind of music?: House, Electro, Drum n Bass, Reggae, HipHop, Rock, Garage, Breakbeat, Electronica, Jazz, R n B

What equipment do you use?: Tech 1200 mk5s, Serato, FL Studio, Reason, M- Audio, MicroKorg

Tell us a bit about yourself (put your bio here if you have one): Starting out as a young guitarist at the age of 12, Qarrell started playing with bands in almost every genre you could possibly think of. Although he liked the scene, he was tired of the fighting and with all the drama so he picked up on the dj act. His friend had showed him what it was all about and he fell in love with it after that. He figured he'd be more productive as a solo artist than worrying about the falling apart of bands and all that. He soon picked up on the best genre, which he realized after dj'ing, breakbeats. Yes the infamous breakbeats, the funky jammin shit that everyone loves to dance to. Although he tries to be more versatile with electronic genres, he does always make some musiq that seems to impress everyone. It has even landed him a few huge venues in places like Memphis, Nashville, St. Louis, and other big cities. So check out the musiq, let me know what you think!
