Total: 9481the problem isn't that noone is rating music, it's that the majority of people don't rate music and that many of those who do simply go through the music page randomly giving tracks low ratings for no real reason.
I've been thinking of a way to get around the issue which will probably come into effect in few months time but the honesty of the thing is that if more people actually bothered to rate other people's music rather than waiting for other people to rate theirs then the few idiots who take pleasure in giving low scores for no reason would get drowned out in the sea of genuine ratings.
The way for you to get around this in the near future is to listen to the music of other people and give them feedback, they'll then do the same for you and you'll slowly but surely amass a legion of of honest raters who'll look forward to apraising your work.
As I said though, the problem's being looked into.
Total: 9481People will rate what catches their ears.....if people just like hats & riffs only then who are we to tell them to conform to what we like & what to rate? We take the rough with the smooth in music.....but hey you already knew that right?
